Let’s be Like Nike

We get these ideas in our head of how successful women should be. I have to make a lot of money, I have to be a great mother, I have to be a wife and in the midst of all this follow my dreams! Talk about a lot on your plate. It’s hard but it’s actually harder when you think about it. I noticed that when I think about everything I have to do for the day it drains me before my day even get started.

So let’s be like Nike and “JUST DO IT”.

Get on a schedule and get committed. If you have to work a 9-5 like me go to work and be amazing while at work. But once you leave work, actually leave work! Don’t take your work home… that’s why its called home. When you walk into your home… clear your mind so that your children and family become something you look forward to instead of anxiety. Anxiety is real and when you have a family that needs your attention it goes on TEN.

Next, chasing your dreams in the mist of work and family is a must. Because like dreams if you keep going on with your life it will fade away. Your free and personal time should consist of following your dreams even if that’s school or your passion.

So make a schedule, do it and don’t think about it!

Understand that nothing worth fighting for will be easy and prayer works.

2 Timothy 4:3

For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but have itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions,

  1. I totally agree with this. It’s never been hard for me to leave work at work lol! But still, it’s hard balancing it all. Every so often you get so bogged down with stuff and pray that God will clone you or something! But my babies are honestly the best part of my day. When I don’t see them all day I’m speeding home!
My biggest thing is feeling behind in my career. It’s starting to weigh heavy at this point. Now I’m like where is mg dream job? I gotta be this great example of a woman for my boys! Then I realize how much I’ve endured over time and how taking things one day at time definitely gives you peace of mind!

  2. Absolutely! Balancing for women can become crazy. I will do many blogs on how we can balance and get a grip on this thing called Life. And God has a way of doing that. I truly believe that God takes of through many obstacles with pursuing our dreams so we can appreciate it.

  3. Love how you have grown, very necessary piece of information. I’m not a woman but I agree with the words. Keep your mind and heart open for God to speak thru you. Your mind is a powerful weapon, continue to use it to inform others who need this input with a “woman’s touch”.
