“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord” (Psalms 37:23 KJV)
Happy New Year!
With the start of a New Year, many of us have the best intentions to begin new endeavors. However, with no vision or plan in place to implement not much happens. The excitement of beginning a new adventure dwindles and you’re back at square one.Vision Board planning is what I love to do to visually mobilize my thoughts and dreams. I absolutely love creating one and it really does help me to focus. The board is a blend of great pictures and positive affirmations that speaks to all areas of my life(finances, marriage, travel personal goals, etc.) Carving out time in my hectic schedule can be a challenge as it is with the rest of the world, but it is feasible. There is a sense of accomplishment with that small feat. So I encourage you to take the first step forward and know that your steps are ordered. It is up to you to follow the blueprint.
Beginning something new can be a frightening and daunting task. The fear of failure can be paralyzing and suffocating to your existence only if you allow it.The voice of self-doubt can be so loud it is deafening.Even with that, we have been given the power to silence that view.It is in this moment where you need childlike fearlessness.Children don’t give thought to what happens if it doesn’t work. They proceed with the mindset that it will happen. At some point, in all of our lives, we can relate to being at a crossroads with the fear. This destination of uncertainty is a reminder of our human frailty and God’s omnipotence.God is the only visionary leader for believers.Speak life to your vision out-loud daily.Fuel your faith and cause fear to suffer a famine.
If you can envision yourself accomplishing the goal then it makes pursuing the goal achievable. But it first begins with you and your perception of you.All things are possible through Christ Jesus. You are never without guidance and a consistent prayer life will give direction.I pray that you get revelation to see yourself how God sees you in 2018. Preparedness is the antithesis of procrastination.I challenge you this year to leave all of your excuses behind. Purposefully Pursue God with a Passion and know that provision will be given for your vision to become a reality!
Until Next time,
