“I feel the momentum of my ambition fading. I don’t want to lose the grasp that I have on my vision. My dreams are gridlocked and I am apprehensively waiting for the appearance of progress.” -KBKorner
It can be a struggle to exercise patience while you are navigating the “in between the vision phase”. This phase can be described as a place where you contend with unexpected hurdles and delays. This is the place where many throw in the towel and walk away. Others acquire an ambivalent attitude toward the process and are stagnant. Then there are those that seize the moment with a “never giving up perspective.” This phase also puts a demand on your faith and cultivates patience. Faith is defined as the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. There will be times when it seems like everything that you are working towards is beyond your reach. However, you must remember that God’s plan is designed so that you can win in the appointed time. The plan is already established it just has to manifest in the earth.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord,” plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
Timing is Everything
Expecting a baby can be an exciting and terrifying experience. The ideal time of full-term pregnancy is 39-40 weeks. If the baby is delivered prematurely the Obstetrician must delay the delivery so the baby can be treated with medication. This medication helps speed up lung development so that he can breathe outside the womb. God doesn’t just want you to survive, but He wants you to thrive! God’s will for your life may not include your plans. However, your heart’s desire should be in sync with his will. The appointed time is all about his Glory and you bearing witness to his goodness. Don’t rush the journey you’re developing each step of the way.
One on One Time
I challenge you to take time to spend it in prayer and devotion daily. There is clarity and peace in the quiet time with God. This may be in your car on your way to work, while you are on lunch break or while taking a stroll in the park. Being in fellowship with God will fortify your faith and build endurance to thrive. There are so many wonderful things that God wants to reveal to you in one on one time.
Until next time,
